“Le Bunnies” is licensed by the Department of children and family services in Sarasota County. We are pleased to accept School Readiness Scholarships through the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County and the Learning Coalition of Florida’s Heartland for parents who work in Sarasota County but reside in the following counties: Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, and Highlands
We also provide the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) for children that turn 4 years old on or before September 1st of the program year.
We provide a stimulating early childhood program focused on social, emotional, and academic growth. Children learn to cooperate, show empathy, and engage in interactive play. The curriculum encourages learning and relationship building in a supportive, family-like environment.
Our two beautiful safe playgrounds allow children to play and learn beyond the classroom. Although our center looks small from outside, families find it spacious and welcoming inside. We maintain a clean and healthy environment with pride.
On the first day that a child begins attending school, families receive an access code granting entry into the facility. This code is issued to ensure secure and controlled access for all families, thereby supporting the safety and well-being of students and teachers.
To further promote the safety and security of children, teachers, and visitors, video surveillance cameras are installed throughout the facility and on the outdoor premises. The surveillance footage is utilized exclusively for internal security and operational purposes. Disclosure of this footage will occur when necessary to licensing agencies or appropriate authorities.
The Executive Director maintains a daily presence at the center, fostering open and effective communication. She is readily available to address questions and support families both in person and by phone.
“Le Bunnies” Early Learning Academy vision is to continue to be the recognized leader in providing the best quality care for all enrolled children. We believe that the first school experience is an important milestone in the life of a child and that this experience sets the foundation for future school experiences.
Education is a continuous lifelong process therefore, “Le Bunnies” will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the center to become known for extraordinary educational programs, talented team, and community relationships. Promoting the growth of each child in accordance with his or her physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. This preparation includes developing wholesome attitudes, multi-cultural appreciations, academic skills and the social, physical, mental and emotional aspects of living.
